Services Your Pledge/Donation Provides
As a giver, your donation to a nonprofit organization can provide the following types of services. As little as one dollar a day or the price of a candy bar you can help make a difference in the life of a child, family, or animal.
$5 every two weeks ($130) per year provides:
- Five outpatient addiction counseling sessions for one person.
- One week of child care for a child with developmental disabilities.
$10 every two weeks ($260) per year provides:
- Fourteen employment workshops and GED test fees for six adult learners.
- Three nights in a safe shelter for a battered woman and her child.
$20 every two weeks ($520-Leadership Giver) per year provides:
- Three hundred and nine meals for a homeless person.
- Four months of one-to-one mentoring for a young person.
As these few statistics remind you, thousands of individuals and families in the Baltimore metropolitan area are facing unemployment, abuse, neglect, and lack of health insurance.
