proportion of the designated overall campaign.
Can I donate to a charitable organization not listed in the directory?
No. If the charitable organization is not listed in the directory you may not donate to it.
Which credit cards can I use to make a donation and is there a fee to use them?
You may give to the CCC using Visa, Master Card, America Express and Discover. Your card will only be charged the amount you designated to the charity. You may have your card charged one-time, monthly, or quarterly.
I want to give online and forgot my username and or password, where can I find that information?
Your user name is your employee ID. This information can be found on your pre-printed pledge card or on your pay stub. Your password is CCCmmddyy. For example if you were born on September 14, 1972, your password would be CCC091472.
Will my entire donation go directly to my selected charitable organization(s)?
There is an administrative cost to run the CCC. Consequently, 75% of your dollar goes to the actual organization.
When are pledge sheets due?
If you give by payroll deduction or online, pledge sheets are due December 21, 2009 to have the money deducted from the first pay check in January 2010.
If I choose payroll deduction, when will funds begin deduction from my paycheck?
Payroll deduction begins the first pay period in January of 2010. However this is based on the timeliness your Coordinators turn in your pledge sheets to CCC headquarters for processing.
Can I stop my payroll deductions? If so, how do I do so?
Write a letter including your name, contact information, and designation cancellation amount to the Quinn Conyers, CCC Project Manager. Her contact information can be found on the Contact Us page. If you work for an independent agency or quasi-city agency that processes their own payroll, submit the above information to your payroll administrator.
May I use my donation as a tax write-off?
Tax laws require a receipt for individual payments of $250 or more to charity. If you have made any single payment(s) above $250 for the 2009 tax year, the CCC will send you a receipt before January 31, 2010.
My non-profit organization has been approved to be apart of the 2009 CCC and I do not know my designation number. How do I obtain it?
